It's your Oxygen Sensor(s). Reset the ECU and see if it comes on again.

I would also check to make sure they didn't damage the O2 sensor connections when installing the Ypipe.

1. Read the stickies before you get banned
2.
3. Welcome to the ORG and stop modding your car before you read the stickies.
4. One more for not reading the stickies

Takes a little while. I believe all you have to do is turn the screw on the ECU to reset it. Let me get a link for you...

The point of the stickies is not for everyone to memorize them. The point is to look there first when you have a problem. The CEL is the MOST COMMON problem and there are 2 stickies dedicated to helping you out with diagnosing the CEL.

I'm actually horrible with cars. I just read a lot. I just know where the info. is and share that when I can.

If you don't want to put in the time to find the answer to YOUR OWN car problems, why should others spend their time searching for you? Not sure how that works.

If you can't take some humor, sorry about that. Welcome to the ORG, as I said earlier. Enjoy your stay.

No need for sarcasm. Just go pull the codes and get back to us - we're not asking for a lot you know

0303 and 0304, front left heated o2 sensor, and....knock sensor. i reset it. is it possible that these are faulty and just popped up because ive never had my freakin cel come on ever, until i got this y-pipe that is.

The KS was tripped by the O2 sensor. The O2 sensor might have been damaged/contaminated when the Y-pipe was installed. Reset the ECU, see if they come back. Start with replacing the O2 (if the code comes back). The KS is often just triggered by it.

I would assume that the problem has something to do with one of the o2 sensors not being hooked up properly after the install. Just my $.02

Well sort of. If the CEL doesn't repost, just check for codes anyway - since the KS (if its bad) doesn't set the CEL, but the 0304 will be stored (a little wierd, but thats how it works). If the O2 sensor is bad, it will repost and code and trip the CEL. Again, if both codes appear at the same time, just fix the O2 sensor issue (replace sensor) first. Reset the ECU and check a few days later to see if the KS posts on its own. Only then do you want to replace the KS.
