jacking problem

jacking problem

ok i'm trying to use stands to crop up the car. I used my jack to pull the car up. Its maxed out but my stnds cant get to the body rail. I cropped the car up in the front next to the radaitor on the circle metal thing.

Three solutions:

1) Buy shorter jackstands
2) Buy a better jack
3) Buy ramps

There is a beam between the front wheels. That might give you more leverage.

Wallmart sells some good 2 and half ton jacks for like 20 bucks.
I have two of them cause i hate supporting a side with just a jack stand cause the frame flexes so much. So I jack up both sides and put stands under too just in case.

No offense, but seems to me you shouldn't be working on the car if you're having problems getting the car in the air.
