alright this was my first time flushing the transmission fluid. Now I'm almost done. I removed all of the dirty oil from the pan. I think there was a leak in the gasket which caused my transmission to almost die. So i got a new gasket and stuff. When I add the fluid does the gasket and pan need to be intact in their position? I think so but I need ur help fast because I wanna fix it today. I tried without them on and i think the dipstick connects directly into the tranny pan.

 

dont really know since ive only used the automatic fluid exchangers. but besure the torque converter is drained also. and get a new filter.
