That is a good color to shine up well.
It ought to do fine with a little buffing.
Good Catch.

Woah. I have a GXE 5 spd. I have chrome handles, chrome trim, and chrome grill. Oh yea NO FOG LIGHTS EITHER. I think you got an SE without Fogs. One way to find out if it's a GXE is... go about 125 MPH, if you can't reach that you have a GXE. That is with your STOCK ECU.

Ahhh, this is the car you were talking about. Good color, get that scratch out, wash it, and it'll be super sweet for the rosewoods!

Does it have a short shifter? Shifter looks kinda low.

the way you see it is the way i bought it. i'm not positive on the gxe or se trim until i lift the hood and check the vin plate but i'll go with yall and just say that its an se . the shifter might be a short shifter i never seen a regular max shifter except threw other people's pix. and as far as the drop thats the way it came. when i test drove it the two rear shock are hhistory and the fronts might be also but at a price like that i couldn't let it go and anyway i wasn't worried about that cause i got the illumina's that i'll throw on there today. and who ever had it had women problems cause as i said before it has a long a$$ key mark that the dealer touched up and on the roof she scratched get the hell out a$$hole so i know it was a women's type of work (or a gay guy) no offense . i'll take some closer pix of the scrathes so u guys can be like dammmnnnnnn.

Very nice! I really want to learn how to drive stick! Definitely an SE...the interior looks the same as mine too (upholstery, black trim) and I have an ES (Canadian model similar to the SE). Are you gonna sell your other Max?

Not to mention the SE stearing wheel... but that only makes it better. Sweet buy bro, happy modding.

i felt bad yesterday after taking out the bomz intake off the auto and the install kit for the mevi. i feel like i'm doing this max wrong. i got it at 92,000 miles for $3500 and it has been there for me and never had a problem. i don't know if i wanna sell it now cause its so reliable not that the other one isn't but i know the auto inside in out so... oh well let the stripping continue

Smart move. The work it would take to do the auto to manual conversion would be killer. Swapping parts is much easier. Sounds like you will come out even once you sell the old car. Good deal!

Oh yeah, it's funny that your car is "dropped" because the struts are all dead! That's how to drop your car ghetto style! Should ride nice once you swap the suspension.

i didn't want to start a new thread maybe you guys can help me. when i come to a complete stop and i'm on a incline whats the best way to get going without the car moving back too much or having it cut off on me in the middle of traffic. i had it cut off on me acouple days ago and a guy tapped my bumper thinking i was moving (no damage ) and i dont want that happening again.

im guessing you just started learning stick? Just release your foot off the clutch a lil, when you feel it gettn ready to roll back, push on the gas(Not floor it), and the car will move up. Keep trying it, and you'll get used to the incline feeling and know when to press and let go the clutch when going up.. Damn, i wish i still had stick shift car =\

The car shouldnt shut off on you unless you are letting the clutch Go too Quick... let ya foot off it a little till you feel it moving back or forward if your not on a incline. You'll pick up on it and get your own feeling to it when you learn

What you can do is put the parking brake up to keep you from rolling back, then as you feel the clutch grabbing put the brake down and it'll send you forward, I would only do this until you're comfortable with hills.
