Foglight Bracket?

Well, I was on my way to my friend's house tonight. To get to his house, you have to go through an alley. There's a part where it goes from pavement to stones, and I didn't notice a huge, like 10 ft. pothole where it changes. Long story short, bottomed out the front of my car in this pothole.

I've inspected it, there's a few scuffs on the very, very bottom of the bumper. But the real problem is my driver's side foglight fell out. The foglight itself is fine, all I did was unplug it and put it in my trunk for the time being.

My problem is that the reason it fell out is because there looks to be a small plastic L-bracket that snapped in half that was holding it in place. I need some help finding out the part # for this and to find out if there's anything else I need to replace while I'm in there. The wiring and what not is fine, as is the foglight itself.

So do I need to replace anything else, or is it just this little plastic bracket? And what's the part #? I need to order this from Jerry Rome Nissan or something here ASAP.

Thanks guys!

I don't really know what you are talking about with the bracket, but the foglight itself sits inside of a rectangular bracket inside the whole. If that is the bracket you are talking about I'm not sure if it is seperate but I may have an old one if it was your passenger side one.

Great pics here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

Just call up the dealer for the part number or you can ask in the "Classified" section

I know there's a metal rectangular bracket it sits in, but there is a plastic piece that bolts to that metal bracket that actually holds the foglight in place so it doesn't move around inside the metal piece. Also, it was my driver's side, not passenger side.

That is an auction for a 97+ foglight and bracket. I have a 95.

the foglight is secured inside of a bracket that is held to the chassis with 2 bolts. then another 1-2 bolts are used to hold the foglight to the bracket, then the screws are covered up with a black or gray trim piece.

Then it sounds like I may have broken part of the foglight housing, the part that would get bolted the bracket.

Yeah, now that I've inspected it in daylight, I broke off part of the housing itself. The bracket is fine, but I'm going to need a whole new housing thanks to that piece breaking off. Problem is, the screw that's holding the broken piece to the bracket won't come off...it slowly gets stripped if I even try to remove it by hand. Can anyone reccomend a way for me to get it off without stripping it? I mean it's REALLY on tight...

Also, jackiss2888, I count atleast 4 bolts holding the bracket to the frame.
