?Clutch Help!
I recently started feeling that my clutch feels alittle notchy when im taking of in first gear or when im shifting gears while at a complete stop. Also, when i take off slowly the car tends to shake. That has never happened to me before. Can someone help please?

if your car shakes when you take off slowly, its your clutch. I'd replace it though, i had the same thing on my camaro with 90,000 on the clutch and i decided not to bother with it, it was alright until one day when without warning, my clutch disk actually broke

check in the how-to's there is a description of how to adjust it,
but the jist of it is look behind the clutch pedal, you'll see the shaft that goes into the fire wall, closer to you there will be a bolt that you'll losen and then you can rotate the shaft clock wise (grab point closer to the floor) or counter clock wise (grab point away from the floor).

I believe adjusting the clutch pedal doesn't do anything except make the transmission go into gear a little easier. The clutch will still behave the same way. Replace it asap, prolonging it could result in more damaged parts. The flywheel could get damaged to the point of needing replacement. Those suckers aren't cheap.
I replaced my clutch 3 weeks ago and when I got the worn out clutch out, it was worn down to the rivets. It started gouching the flywheel, luckily I was able to still reuse it by resurfacing the flywheel.

But ajusting the grab point can help prolong the life of the clutch if needed. by no means will adjusting the point be a solution but more of a means to help determine the problem. I adjusted the grab point on my clutch when it was acting up it helped for a few weeks, but then the problem slowly returned. As previously advised get it check out. Flywheel on jerryromenissan about $250. . . ouch.

Pinnacle has it for $183. Those guys are my new OEM Nissan Parts source. Been buying a lot of stuff from them. Also, factor in your other parts that need replacing aside from the fw and clutch, you might as well replace the pressure plate/cover and bearings. It all adds up. A flywheel can ruin your allowance for the week though, I know it would have ruined mine.
I didn't mention that before I changed the clutch, I replaced the master and slave cylinders and hoses because of leaks in the system. After replacing them, my car wouldn't go into gears. So we adjusted the pedal and it fixed that. At that time, my clutch was already slipping but in 2 weeks time (since I replaced the master/slave cylinders) until I replaced the clutch, the slip got worse and worse. The adjustment did help in one way but killed the clutch faster. I couldn't pass anyone, nor accelerate normally. Everytime I press on the accelerator, the RPM would climb up quickly and gradually go down as the clutch tries to grab. I drove my car to my friend's tranny shop so we could work on it. The last block before I got there, the clutch was barely grabbing. It was on its last leg.
Good thing I didn't drive my car for a week before that.
