Service Engine Soon! KS

Never had the CEL come on before. Today it popped on. Came home, read the codes, flashing 0302 and 0304. EGR insufficient or excessive flow (0302)
Knock Sensor or Circuit Fault (0304)
Anyone have these 2 codes together? Any suggestions besides changing out the knock sensor? Thanks in advance. 99 GLE Cali spec. 90K.

Don't bother with the KS until the other thing is fixed

Mine lit up recently. I got two codes, 0304 (Knock Sensor) and 0111 (EVAP control system). I just changed the KS tonight and reset the ECU.

That stupid light comes on all the time for the gas cap, luckily I found out about it early on when I first bought the car.

I have a 95, I had both these codes come up, yet my KS was brand new, my problem was resolved by replacing EGR solenoid valve, however, there was another member in here not too long ago, he replaced the entire EGR system, but 0302 kept returning, his problem was resolved by replacing his coil packs, here are a few threads:
