walbro fuel pump install

walbro fuel pump install

hey i need to know if there is anything else i need to install the walbro pump except for the pump. I got the pump used but it didn't come with anything else... do i need other stuff to install it and if so where do i get it?? thanx

You need to get the o-ring that seals the gas tank cover under the seat.

also, are you boosting?... it's a good idea to get a adjustable fuel press. regulator. Reason being that with the stock fpr, you're idle fuel press is at about 32-34 psi. With the walbro, it'll get bumped up to about 43 psi, meaning that you're going to run rich. Getting the aftermarket one will fix this problem.

Dont use walbro fuel filter which comes with a pump. I doesnt go all the way down to the buttom of fuel tank, I made that mistake and my car stopped when I had half tank of fuel. Just use old filter.
