Temperamental tranny
I think my tranny has a mind of its own. This morning it was running roughly. At lunchtime, it was running like a champ. On the way home from work, it was back to being a chump.
Sometimes, it shifts crisply and strong. Other times it will act like, "Uh...what you want me to do again?"
Maybe it isn't my tranny at all, but the fuel/air management system being inconsistent.
Thoughts? (and don't say, "Get a 5-speed").

if you had a 5 speed then we could all just blame you
what have you checked for? clean fluids?
cleaning everything is always fun. and everything counts..i swear my subs hit harder right after i changed my knock sensor
also at lunch time we all step on it so maybe try that

All of the fluids are up to specs. I changed my tranny fluid about 4 months ago. Engine oil was changed two weeks ago. It's getting hotter and more humid here. That may have something to do with it.
