wierd control arm issue- i think

Here's the thing, i got two new control arms put in a little while ago. Now I'm getting strange groaning/creaking noises from one side and I cant figure out what the heck it is. Its only on the passenger side and i here it if

a) i'm backing up and i have the wheel turned to the left and I'm about to stop and put it in 1st- this is when I get the creaking/ groaning

b) there's some vertical space between my driveway and the street, about and inch. Now, when I'm getting out, nose first and have to turn right, i get this dulled "bang" like i used to get with the worn balljoints

I can also feel the right side a bit more on the wheel when I go thru the rough roads around here. I dont know what to think; I jacked the car up to take a look at it and everything's pretty tight. I even tried to loosen those bolts and then tighten them.

Control arms/ sway bar links are new like a couple of weeks, struts were replaced a year and a half ago so I figure I have about 28k on them.

What's the deal with this?

If the control arms and FSB end links are new, more than likely, the problem is with the strut/spring assembly. Maybe worn strut bearing or mounts. If you have lowering springs, spring noises are not uncommon.

hmmm, i'm not lowered at this time but given there's nothing else in the area....that could be it. I was actually planning on getting a set of H&R's with Illumina's mid-summer- this could actually give me an excuse to get them sooner since I have to disassemble them anyway..
