I need a battery for the turbo car. I've got a marine battery box located in the trunk, but I can scrap that if needed. I'd like as light a battery as possible, but the turbo car is sometimes difficult to start, so it's gotta be able to crank it over for a little bit if neccessary at least (like 30 seconds of cranking).
I am on Oddysey's website right now. Anyone with opinions on any lightweight batteries.

30-40 lb and up. This is a very affordable method of shaving 30lb. People pay $600+ for a CF hood to shave 30lb.
I dono if this will work for you but there was a thread about this somewhere and people are using the batteries outta the the jump starters they sell pepboys. They are like 4lbs or so. One guy uses one daily and keeps a spare with him charged. Very light battery and there only like $40. Just another idea for you to keep in mind if you want it for 1/4 mile racing.
