I have a weird smell coming from my car. It smells like anti-freeze. I think it maybe be the heater core. If so how much does a job like that cost? I am not seeing any leaking but it smells bad. It smells like anti-freeze fixed with fish. Has anyone eles done there heater core?

Where? exhaust? air vents? If air vents, you can go to your local autozone, kragen, pep-boys and get this air vent cleaner, its a little spray bottle. there is usually smell in the airvents due to the use of the A/C. clean it out if its that, if exhaust, i have no idea. good luck.

 

The smell is from inside the car. You can't even smell it outside.

 

do u see any leak in ur rad, if not it would be ur heater core

 

No I see no leak. Where do I get a heater core and how much is it?

 

if you open your hood, you should be able to smell it there also. check all the hoses. on a dry day, look at the hoses and see if there is anything that is like wet. i dunno how much a heater core is. but should still run a couple of hundred
