well i tried my best but the bolts in my engine are rusty as hell so i can't get to the knock sensor or the idle air control valve, not to mention the bolts holding my injectors are soft so i can't even put in my 370cc ones :-( how much is it going to cost to get those 3 things done or how much time is it going to take is a better question. Since all 3 are easier done with the manifold off, it should save time doing it all together rite?

What tools are you using for the knock sensor? You should have a socket, u-joint, long extension, and wrench, and it should come out with a little work.

The KS and the IACV would be easier. But the Fuel Inj would be a bit harder and time consuming.

I can see the KS being a little frustrating, but there is no reason the IACV bolts shouldn't just break loose... make sure you are using sockets... the IACV bolts are not that tight. The KS is a different story - for that you just have to get some leverage/angle... it will break loose eventually.

As for soft-screws, I can't help you there, I had the same problem trying to get my TPS screws undone - I gave up eventually, even with the TB off the car, I couldn't get the screws to budge and they started to show signs of stripping - so I left it alone - since it wasn't bad, I was just poking around. I think with an impact screwdriver, those screws would be much easier to break free....

As for your question on labor cost, I would expect to pay 300-400 for all those things - assuming its an independent mechanic, not a dealer.

Rent/Borrow A Variable Speed Impact gun, it should help loosen the bolt at least.
