change the gearing?

Hey, anyone ever done this? I never even use 5th gear, and talking to someone at the track it sounds like I could really up my acceleration if I got lower gears. 3rd is too tall....

Has anyone done or heard of doing it?

Put it in the ALL MOTOR forum, they have a good thread about different gear sets. The 4th gen forum is full of retards so don't bother here.

never use 5th? it is more or less a fuel effiency gear, i suppose.

Never use it at the track... Rarely get to use 4th even, what with the MEVI and 7K redline. At most I am in 4th like for 2 seconds at a time at the end of a long straight
