does anyone have any pics with mesh on a 99' front bumper maxima ?(the slots under the license plate)
I tried looking for some on google but came up empty. I was wondering how this would look.

Blackcat is the master of the mesh grill.

Check out his pics and instructions at:

Thanks Maximaah!

I did have mesh in the lower valance last year but I took it out because it got tarnished.

I'm planning to make another one where its flush with the body instead of set inside the recess like in the pic. I just have to figure out the logistics in anchoring it down.

I'm about to paint mine gloss black, I'm a little tired of the aluminum look but like having the mesh.

Before you go ahead, have you taken a look at my cardomain site, page 2? I have pics of the mesh painted in black.

Up close it doesn't look that good. You can see whats underneath.
I haven't figured out what material to use to hide the plastic.

maximaah... how did you mesh the lower valences on your maxima? Does someone have a writeup with the best way to do it? I've done my grille but am wanting to do the lower valences too. The only way I can see doing it is removing the front bumper but that looked like it would be quite a pain.

I own the white max above /\ post #11, I used screws for the lower section at the rear or the mesh where you don't see it. and for the mesh near the plate I use urathain sealant. I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong. But it's the black sealant that is used to seal in windshields. It dries very strudy and strong. I put a thin bead towards the inside lip and pressed the mesh onto it and let it dry.wal la'
