You wouldn't need spring compressors unless you want the spring off of the strut currently on your car, it will have directions on the box if you need to use the compressors, but basically all you are needing to remove and reinstall are 5 nuts, the basics already have the struts on them. 3 bolts on the top(strut tower) and the 2 on the bottom holding it to the knuckle/hub.

You will need to reuse the stock upper mounts.
You got the wrong spring compressor. The one you have is for leaf springs (not sure of the technical name) where the shock is outside of the springs mostly found in old american cars and some trucks. Bring it back and tell them you need an external spring compressor. Make sure you take a look at it and you'll figure out how it works before you leave the store. You'll figure it out.

No he is NOT installing fully pre-assembled coilovers. Tein basics do NOT come with upper mounts. You need to reuse the stock mounts....don't know how many times this has been said before by me and maximus_95.

nah, i used a torque bar. n a torque bar is like a breaker bar. basically its a bar that you made by putting a pvc piping over the wrench. trust me, its not budging. i twisted a craftsman bolt. so......that means i'm really strong n the bolt is really stuck. so...yea...dunno what he's gonna do, again dude..sorry, best of luck to ya

When dealing with tough stuck-on nuts/bolts, it helps to first apply a little WD40 or something similar, let it soak, and TIGHTEN it a very VERY small nudge (a very brief jerk just so you feel it move a little). This would help move the nut/bolt and you should be able to take it out using a breaker bar.
Careful not to over tighten when you reassemble the rears b/c the breaker bar adds a lot more torque then you can actually feel. I actually broke one of the top mount threads by over tightening. Should have known better than to use a 'long' breaker bar…
