Strut Bar Help

I know this is probably really easy but I have never done it before...is there anything I should look out for when putting on the FSTB or is it as simple as unscrewing the 3 screws on each side of the engine bay and put the strut bar in. I tried that yesterday but the screws wouldnt even move so I sprayed the crap out of them with WD40. Any advice on this would help. Thanks.

I used a torque wrench and used 110% of my strength to loosen those 6 nuts.. it's hard but you gotta really put your power into it... oh and don't use wd40. I poured goo-gone on the nuts and let it sit for about a minute and got them loose pretty good. (goo-gone is not a lubricant.. it cleans the dirt)

make sure you read post #8 also @ http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....50&page=1&pp=8

Don't over tighten the nuts once the FSTB is installed.

i just ordered an OTTO bar. if it doesn't come with instructions, am i correct in remembering that 30 ft/lbs is a good torque measurement to tighten it to with a torque wrench?

dont worry about the pressure. you need to take a normal socket/rachet and put the arm of the rachet through the circular hole of a wrench to provide more leverage. THIS WILL MAKE EVERYTHING MUCH MUCH MUCH EASIER. I promise you all this.
