Hey I believe that my knock sensor may be bad or going bad. I read through the stickies on how to check it by testing the resistance, but i dont have an ohmeter (*sp?). My question is...if the ecu is throwing a silent trouble code for the ks, will an obdII scanner pick up this code even though the CEL is not lit? Thanks in advance

 

Read in the stickies on how to check for codes by using the screw on your ecu. If the knock sensor is bad you will have the code 0304 with no other codes. Good luck.
