Cold air intake versus stock or hacked intake

I know this has been argued time after time but i have a true cold air intake and a palm dyno scan. I switched back to stock because everyone on here said that it was better and made more power and had better throttle response, how do you figure?? I monitored the air temps via my palm and when its 90 degrees out side the underhood temps were @135 degrees+ , and the air temp with the cold air intake was no more than 95 degrees. Not to mention the power diff with the factory intake, the thing did not pull as hard off the line all the way to redline, like the cold air does. So your going to tell me your not getting anymore power from the 40 plus degrees cooler air?? YEAH RIGHT!! And what about your air/fuel and timing from hot air versus cool air????

Great.. this is gonna be pain.

But yea I'm with you. I like my intake better than stock or hacked.
I guess lot of people have short-ram intake and they are the ones saying it sucks.. cause yea.. well it's sucking in air from the engine bay anyways so what's the point.

A hacked air box is basicly the same as a short ram. Everything under the hood it hot, especially when the fans are kicked on, on a hot day its like a sauna under the hood.

I do believe the arguement was about the mid-pipe, stock vs. aftermarket, and not the actual airbox and the tubing after the airbox itself.
