So i Guess i'm a member of the club (pics)....

Average week. Traffic in the morning and evening and city/highway driving mix. I'm surprised that this happened.

Congrats. Were you driving any less "fun" than you normally would? I routinely get over 20 mpg without trying to get good gas mileage (read: wot, etc.)

That's decent mileage under the circumstances. Not sure what % highway was in the mix, however.

Isn't the equation something like sinθtanθ = cot45°secθ ÷ ⅞ • √348.3 to calculate the proper gas mileage? You could try going from there 2 Da Max...

*******, 400 miles??? You guys w/ 250 are above me also, I can't even get 220 most times. I started accelerating up to the speed limit like a maniac after people told me that i don't drive the car enough (rmurdoch). I blame my foot.

Nope that is regular spirited driving. I commute into boston daily and spend a hour in traffic with the AC on. That is my best thank ever. I usually average 350-370 a tank but this to me was a pretty good tank. if i could drive like a grandma i would. I can't resist for that long.

with mostly city and some highway driving I can generally break 350 by 1/4 tank and I live on a big hill and still have some fun.

Yeah I just paid $2.44/gal the other day and I rarely get over 300 unless its all highway... I don't usually fill the tank up completely and then drain it completely either. I started just having fun while driving and speeding up quick whenever I feel like it, just having some fun and I seem to get just about the same gas mileage.

I get anywhere from 450 - 500 when I push it, otherwise I fill up at around 14 gallons with ~400 miles driven.

I get 22-23 mpg spirited driving (WOT, launch, etc) combined highway, city. Grandma driving (65, windows up, shifting before 2500) i get 26-27mpg.

22x18.5gallons = 407 miles/tank ? Damn...that much?

You got to love NJ gas prices. I finally get more than 400 miles on a full tank. Switching to premium has made quite the difference.
