AC Vents

Does anyone know how to remove right & left ac & defroster vents?

Do they just pull out, or do I have to take apartment dash like most everything in a Maxima?

The little defroster vents that flow out at the side windows?

Those just pop out.

I didn't want to break them, and I will switch the tan ones in my new Max with the black ones in my old wrecked max.

the left and right ac vents are screwed in from behind the dash, you have to remove the whole dash to take them out.

the small defogger vents pop out. the larger vents on the front of the dash also pop off. there are no screws holding them in place. for the large ac vents, there are tabs along the sides of the fascia...about an inch from both the top and bottom. theyre kind of a pain to get off, but i doubt you will break them. i suggest taking off the ones you dont want first...so that you can see the tabs on the part and know exactly where to pry when youre taking off the ones you do want.

Aiite, so they're aren't any screws, right? The Drivers side A/C vent (I guess next to the mirror control) has been permanently closed for the past year because the vent closure dial at the bottom broke internally. Now I know that I can just pry the thing off with a reg screwdriver where the tabs are and crazy glue whatever plastic part broke, right?
