budget y-pipe, am i missing something?

i'm not quite sure if i'm missing this, but on my stock y-pipe, i had a bracket to hold my y-pipe up by where it bolts onto the cat. But now the flange that connets to the cat on the budget seemed like it wasn't cut perfectly. i put it on anways, and bolted the cat to it. i guess it fit fine due to the flex section. but now i can't fit the bracket back on. is it suppose to be like this?? or am i suppose to reuse the bracket from my stock y-pipe??

sorry, i know it is worthless without pics. but dumb me forgot to take picutres before it was on the car. i put ito n last week. its raining otuside, so i'm not gonna go out n take pictures. all the flanges are there. But isn't there a bracket that hold the y-pipe up?? or you have to re-use the stock one that is connected to the bolts where the cat n y-pipe meets

i think i reused my stock one, but it was pretty rusted. not sure, though. i haven't taken a look at things under there for a while. it's just kinda like some u-shape that hooks up right by the cat, right?

hopefully someone else will chime in here soon...

Are you asking if Budget sends a bracket with the y-pipe? The short answer is NO. You have to re-use the stock one.

Don't reuse the stock bracket. It will rust in a short time if it hasn't already. Go to the Nissan Dealer and buy a new bracket for $45 bucks. Here it is:

^^^ what kind of y-pipe is that?

oh stillen, nm. just checked your sig. the rear bank pipe seems strange... on my budget, it just went straight down and then flowed into the front bank pipe. it didn't go forward at all, i don't think.

Yea, it's a Stillen. It is shaped differently than most other Y-Pipes. I guess it's so each bank is the same length, but I don't know. It fits perfectly though...

I got mine used for $145 with gaskets and hardware. It was only used for a short while, like a week or something like that.
