Y-Pipes been a bad boy!!

Guys, i dont think my car likes my y-pipe. ever since i put it on things have been happening. Its budget ss by the way. well, as soon as i put it on, my cel light went on, O2 sensor. thats wen i found out i had a knock sensor problem as well. the car now rattles underneath somewhere, but only wen im in "D". i just changed my O2 sensor 20 minutes ago, it seems that the guy who put the y-pipe on messed up putting the o2 sensor bak in, and the biatch was stuck. the guy today told me that it was ripping out threads or something like that. now i have 2 front o2 sensors in my y-pipe, one with the wires cut off, and he made another freakin hole and stuck the other one in there. he said it happens often. anyways, the code for that went off, and as soon as i tried to reset the ecu, 2 more codes popped up about the evap something. i decoded it already, but one code says it doesnt say much without the other, and that other says it doesnt hurt engine performance wutsoever. i hate that freakin cel, now imma go try to change the ks in a bit, probably gonna cough up some dough. pepboys ks is 225 bucks. i aint spendin that. sorry bout the long story, just wanted to vent, never had ANYTHING happen till this y-pipe. had it for a month now, and still havent felt the full effects of it yet, cuz of freakin crap!!!

well, i mean wen i installed the y-pipe the guy took the o2 sensors out easy, but wen i went to change the sensor today, the guy was saying that it was put in wrong. codes 0705 and 0903 popped up literally 5 seconds after the o2 sensor was changed today. does it have something to do with it? i suppose yes, but i read the sticky and it says that 0903 will not affect anything at all. 0705 could be anything, theres no way of telling, atleast thats wut the sticky says. so imma just worry bout the darn ks now.

HOLY CRAP

If you mechanic did not use it, it MAY be the reason it wouldn't come out.

Look up anti-seize on for yourself.

Sounds like that guy doesn't really know what he is doing. Better to get some knowledge and do it yourself. It's one thing to spend money to get it fixed if you mess it up, but its another thing to take it to a "professional" and end spending MORE money on top of that.

ok, does the method for resetting the ecu in the sticky (turning the screw) do the same exact thing that a scanner does wen it resets it? cuz wen i was at the stealership i asked if it was easy to change the ks myself, they wanted $111 labor, one guy said "yeah, but u need a scanner, how u gonna reset the ecu, the ecu will never know u did anything". i said, "i know how to reset it". guy:"howw, tell me" me:"turn a screw on the ecu, and thats pretty much it", guy:"nope, wrong, that doesnt work anymore, only prior to obd11 (something like that)", so i just stayed quiet...guy:" how do u know u have a code" me:"i checked the ecu for codes!" guy:" so u have a scanner?!" me:" no, i turned the screw"...guy:"well...get a scanner, that method doesnt work". so i left thinkin maybe the scanner hes talkin bout does more that wut the sticky does? are they the same thing pretty much? all i know is that the method in the sticky takes a code away!

About 2 months after I had my Y installed by Budget, my front o2 sensor (right bank) went.

Also your thread title sounds extremely
