I replaced the starter 2 months ago, and yesterday it didn't want to start again. After a while, it just started. I have a CEL, but it's for the EGR valve pressure sensor, so I don't think that could be it. Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks for any input.

By the way, if anyone know where I can get that sensor, let me know.

By not starting, does it crank but not catch? or no cranking?
What was the exact CEL code?

The code is P1400. When it didn't start all the gauge lights came on, but it didn't even crank over, nothing.

Sounds like your starter is crapping out... where did you get the rebuilt one from? the cheap ones at pep boys, autozone are a crapshoot... sometimes you get one that lasts forever but more often you get a lemon... go use your "lifetime warranty" to swap it out and see if that helps.

If it's not the starter, it might be the ignition switch (30 bucks, 15 mins to replace) or the ignition relay.

Yeah it was from Autozone. Where can I get an ignition switch and relay? Thanks for your help.

Check your local parts stores (Autozone, etc.) Or just get it from Courtesy Nissan (courtesyparts.com) or midwaypartsteam.com.
