Any1 Got Pics Of Ae Headlights?????
#2
Here's a couple pics of mine...I also have a 99. It was fairly easy. The hardest part for me was just removing the headlights then putting them back in. I undid the screws that aim the headlights so that messed things up a bit. I also did my clearance lights to match. Those were easy too, but a little trickier to pry the lenses off cause the glue is farther inside the housing. Make sure you use lots of tape to cover the part you still want shiny because the spray paint can get through any little gap in the tape. Also, let your lights cool down after having them in the oven before you tape so the adhesive on the tape doesn't stick too much then peel off the chrome finish. Just be careful pulling it off after you're done. Its really satisfying once you get the lights back in though!
And before I got my DC Clears:
I got a few more pics on my Car Domain site too.

I just bought some flat black spraypaint that has high heat resistance. The one I bought is actually for Barbeques. The heat resistance is needed to withstand the heat of the bulbs. This is actually the same paint I used to do the DTM mod to my taillights.
Here's a link on how to do it:

There is writeup on how to remove your headlights in the stickies. I still had trouble with this even though everybody said it was really easy. I would have preferred a writeup with pics but there doesn't seem to be one. Doing your clearance lights is done pretty much the same way as the headlights.

I am going to embarrass myself here. What does AE mean? Anniversery Edition? Angel Eye? ??
Mr. Duck. That mod would be iffy on even a black Max - it certainly looks out of place on your beige Max.
