ny freind put a computer in his dakoda, it wasnt that hard, mounting the 15" lcd was the hardest part. we looked into touch screens but they are f***ing expensive. we ended up just using a wireless trackball and one of those flexible keyboards

i believe the best bet is to make friends with someone that works in best buy. There is a panasonic flip out that is touch screen and navigation ready. It plays dvd, mp3s, cds, dunno about vcd's tho. i believe it costs around $700 with the employee discount. otherwise it is about $1100. Oh, and then the computer is gonna be more expensive. are you sure that you want to get this for your b/f?? cause this stuff is really expensive. I'd say you shuold just contribute to this and not BUY EVERYTHING.
