Tranny problem??

Ok sorry if this has been said or some one else had this problem... but here you go..

i was driving down the road and all of a sudden i start getting a rattleing sound from the tranny. i push the clutch in and it goes away.... every gear it does it i pull into my driveway and when i am not moving or slowly moving it isnt there just when i am accelerating in gear...

Now i dont know alot about trannsmitions but is that the throw out bearing? or is it something else? if it is the trow out bearing, is there an easy way to replace it?

could i damage the tranny more if i dont fix it right away or if i drive longer with it? till i can either find a good tranny shop that wont rip me off, or figure out how to do it my self.

Thanks for the help and let the flamming start.

wow not even a Go check the stickies comment...

I read the stickies and i have alot of information about replacing the clutch and rebuilding the tranny from motorvate.ca....

but i would like to know if that is what is wrong. and if i could cause more damage if i ride it longer...

maybe also a ruff price to have a shop do it???

I don't know much about trannies (though I'm in about $2400 deep w/my Grand Voyager!!) but if the rattling stops when you press the clutch in, it sounds like the throw out bearing....
