A couple of days ago I noticed that when I shifted into reverse (manual), my max sort of lurched and then engaged. This morning, I was backing up again and the car felt like I was riding a bucking bronco. I also heard a noise that sounded like the gears were engaged then slipped. My tranny was rebuilt about 3 years ago by Aamco Transmisions, and is currently out of warranty. Since then I have had to replace the shift linkage pin, car would not stay in gear when it broke.

Has anyone experienced these symptoms? Could it be the shift linkage again? Or is it the tranny :-( ???
