help with plenum removal to do egr

i am trying to remove the intake plenum but there is a hose on bottom that i cant figure out how to remove. anyone know what it is?i am going to clean my egr and everything out to get rid of CEL.

Those are the coolant lines - not sure what the point of running them through the plenum is - but those are a b**** to take out and put back on. That part took most of the time for me. I used up every word of my extensive expletive vocabulary trying to get those hoses on and off.

It helps to have a second person - who can hold the plenum up while you fiddle in there. I used a long needle-nose plier to hold the clamp open and just kept trying until I got the hoses off. Reassembly was even harder (at least for me). There is just no easy way - keep at it.

thanks. luckily i do have someone helping but we are still trying to figure it out.
