Missing spring brake pads...

All

I discovered while installing new front pads that only the right side has those 2 "V springs" ( for better choice of words) on the front of the pads. whoever did the brake on my Max the last time didnt install the "V springs" on the driver side.

If anyone has an extra pair and like to sell them cheap, please let me know. they are selling those at the auto store for $11 and some dont even have those. They will need to be ordered.

Please let me know. Thanks

I don't have those V-springs on my brakes (front or rear). I bought a new hardware kit from Nissan and those springs weren't included. I have no squealing/dragging issues.

So you might be ok just getting rid of them all together. I don't even remember if all new pads come with the little holes drilled for those springs.

I don't have them anymore either. When I changed my brakes mine didn't come with the springs and I decided I didn't need them anyway. That was 6,000 miles ago. I'm pretty sure it's OK not to have them.
