My friend has a scrap yard, I can probably get a good number of OEM Nissan/Infiniti parts.

I'm wondering if the I30/Early 5th gen vq30 Variable Intake bolts right on to the 4th gen maxima. This seems to me like it could be much easier than a similar MEVI.

Is there any other parts I should be asking about on any Nissan/Infiniti? (Other than calipers. Things like ECUs, exhaust parts etc etc.)

yes its possible, and yes it is cheaper, and better, though more envolved.
