Castrol GTX 5W30. $1.39/qt. can't go wrong, 5k changes with OEM filter.

Castrol GTX High Mileage 5W-30

I plan on changing the oil every 3500 miles or so, even though I know dino oil last longer.

Mobil 1 15,000 mile 5w30 changed every 4,500 miles with a fram tough guard filter. A good filter is just as important.

I disagree, i think a good filter is more important, and FRAM does not make a good filter, Try M1 filters or Purolator PureOnes.

i use 10w-30 castrol gtx high mileage. Thinking about switching to German Castrol Syntec 0w-30. BTW fram does not make good filters.
