Precats??

When my engine is cold I get a wierd vibration i feel in the floorboards and on the pedals. But if goes away when the engine is warmed up, I'm guessing its got something to do with my exhaust. Do the pre cats go bad? I figure they must because everything goes bad at one point or another. And should I use this as an excuse to get a Y-pipe?
Thanks

You're being paranoid. Get an aftermerket y-pipe and eliminate the worries of pre-cat failure

Paranoid? it sounds like a wookie from star wars dude, anyway I always look for another reason to get a performance part, besides just the gains. I'm just weird like that.

They don't warm it up. are you talking about? Pre-cats are nestled closer to the engine in order so the cats can warm up faster, and start working faster, and emit less harmful chemicals into the atmosphere.
