In the regular retro, the 4 screws that are holding the projector go straight to the back of the reflector, in this one, since the projector is more or less off to the side it is more work to aim it. I'll have to figure out some contraption with a level to have the projector tightened down straight as if it were in the back of the reflector housing. I did use the aiming bolts on the factory housing to get it close, the driver side is about perfect all I did was just lower it, the passenger side I adjusted as far up as it would go but it is still off so I'll have to move the projector aim up and to the left. Beam pics as soon as I get it right!!! BTW I think these bulbs are new because they haven't colorshifted yet.

I'll try to get some pics tonight, I adjusted it yesterday. I still need to wire up the halogen high beams and aim them, I think they are a little high. But I'll try to get hid beam pics if I remember, I'm trying to help out on that "104.5 pimp my ride car" and it's been a busy week.

I'll take pics of that too, it looks like a regular retro except the projector protrusion is more toward the outer of the headlight (o..) instead of (.o.)
The fog light doesn't protrude at all, 100% of it fits in the light, the only thing coming out of that side is the foglight wires.

 

I was thinking about beating off, but it looks like I don't have to anymore....

He's the second person I saw that tried this, HomerMac was the first. They look good. I think i'm going to swap out these e55 singles for some e46 singles, already in the mail. BTW I'm totally broke now. I've also decided I'm going to put 4 angel eyes on and see how it looks, after that I plan on producing these for other 4th genners.

yea i tought about the angel eyes.. my bmw shround facilitated them too.. but then i figurered everyone has angeleyes.. people are even just hanging the HALO in their headlights... (i saw at a ny meet) hehehe... it was interesting... = )....

yea im gonna redo my projectors. if im happy with the cefiros i might jsut sel the projectors... after i do em...

 

Yeah, there has been a few people asking about projectors in cefiros you might be able to hook them up.

 

Expect to pay AT LEAST 500 bucks.

I just wish we could get a decent writeup. Everybody that does it never gives a decent writeup on it. But yeah duals in cefiros would be nice.

 

to be honest its really hard to do a write up... its just alot of grinding.. tweaking.. tweaking... and such.. what works for me prollly wont work for you.. cause i accidently broke a piece then i had to grind the whole thing bigger...

i took aolot of pics and put them up.... on webiste.. but i dont hink many people cared so i took it down... just took up my iDisk space....

 

They are just regular driving lights I picked up at wally world. They are Navigator brand, they were like $25 for the set. I wanted the pep boys driving lights with the angel eyes on them but didn't want to shell out $60.

 

I'm thinking about having 2 options, just the lights with the projectors or the whole set up w/ bulbs and ballasts. I think I could do just the lights and let everyone fend for themselves on getting bulbs and ballast and also offer a core charge for the stock set of lights. I would probably have to do the labor cheap to offset the whole cost and keep it down. I think we get the shaft on having 4th gens with limited options on aftermarket stuff so hopefully these lights will be another option.

Option 1
Lights only $500 shipped/insured everything brand new; brand new headlights w/ 4 angel eyes, e46 projectors wiring harness and professional bezels.
$470 w/o angel eyes.

Option 2
Lights shipped to me should be $400 shipped back to you all the above included.
$315 shipped if you don't want angel eyes or professional bezels.

You will have to get your own OEM ( not an aftermarket kit) hid bulbs and ballasts.

Disclaimer: This is just a test thought, if this was an actual thought you would have been given instruction on what exactly you need to do....
