Offcourse it's mine. I will post pics and vids up later. MaxGTR has done what no other have tried before, and that's helping another org member out with wanting the same driving pleasure. He is an outstanding person who will stand by his product, and please people, do not rush this man, let him do his job so it come out beautiful.

I will try to take a video/pics of my electrical diagram which was done up by the most meticulous org friend I can possibly have. All the wires/diodes, electrical were soldered. He even fixed my stock crappy wire and soldered that baby to full strength.

I strongly suggest a 9004 wire harness upgrade, as it has the relays and fuse already. All you need is the diode and 30 amp fuse to connect, well it will be explained later somewhat.

Pics later, I was doing double overtime this past Saturday/Sunday so pics tomorrow morning, bright and early!

I don't think it would look right. If you make it all black then it won't look right with the corner lenses, then you have to darken them, then if you do that, the bumper lights won't look right then you have to darken them as well. To each his own though, I 'll do whatever the customer wants. If you would like to see what headlights look like all black, search for org member Meanbean from the member list, his lights are blacked out.

I have a link to my retrofits for sale thread. Just have an extra set of headlights or another car to drive and you are almost there. Depending on the work and the style of projector it usually takes about a week. Keep an eye on this thread, I'm working on a set of e46 singles for one member right now, a set of e46 bi-xenons, and in another week or so a set of tsx , I'll try to post some pics of beam pattern and what the headlights look like up close, etc.

Where to get?

Hey, those are sweet. I was wanting to do something like this i found here

http://www.gotnismo.net/Projector_How_To.php

was just wondering if I could get some direction on where to get the angel eyes projectors like this and around how much they'd cost. I could follow the how to and get a couple friends to help me out installing. Just needed to know where to find good and decent priced angel eyes projectors. Thanks.

Your best bet is eBay and search for projector, use the highest price to lowest price filter cause idiot sellers use the word projector for halogen bulbs and it takes a long time to find stuff sometimes. Good projectors are going to be around $80-$100+. Angel eye material is pretty cheap but you need leds too. You can also post in the General Maxima for sale items and post "WTB Projectors" and you should get a few hits. Educate yourself at www.hidplanet.com/forums , you will learn alot there and they have good stuff at their store. I wrote that write up that is linked so any questions just p.m me.

Very nice dual headlights!! What do you guys think about getting 350Z projectors and ballasts and trying to make them dual? I think the 350Z projectors look sharp. Either way Awsome headlights

props to maxgtr2000 on the dual lens swap

after doing a single projector swap back when everybody was saying it was impossible, i had serious doubts about the pheasability of a dual projector setup. i know for sure i couldn't have done it with the bi-xenon projectors i used. with mine i had to cut out quite a chunk out of the back of the housing just to get the single projector to fit. looks like you didn't have to do that with your lights and your 2 projectors sit about as far back from the lens as my single unit. this makes me want to redo my setup and stick another projector in there

.I've considered 350z projectors but you only pay like $30 for the other lens. It's not really aother projector, that would be harder but i don't think it is impossible. The inner lens/"projector" is just a regular fog light or driving light so it has a shallower profile than a full projector. alot of times the fog light just clears the projector bezel diagnally by justs a few mm. There is lot more room with smaller projectors like the e46 single. E55 and E46 bixenons are larger, you are looking at a 2.75"-3" lens. The thing about making them fit is mounting the projector farther towards the outside of the lights to make the inner lens fit.

350z projectors are pretty small and they bleed light from the sides as part of their set up if I'm not mistaken. I considered using them at a time but they are a little too cheezy for me. You really have to find a fog light set that is close to the diameter of your projector so that they will kinda match.

Hey 007max, How come you had to cut a lot in the back? I also have bi-xenon projectors, and maxgtr didnt cut out alot.. This is how mine came out, fit good. I took a quick picture, i'll take better when i get a camera.

I'll be posting some pics soon of clear cefiro dual lens retrofit with tsx projectors colormodded I'm working on for someone. I must admit this thing is looking hot, to me it is the retrofit of retrofits. Price wise and light output wise. The tsx is an awesome projector.

Any update on the cefiros? I am looking to do a retro on some smoked cefiros I have and would appreciate your wisdom. Is the retro process much different for cefiros compared to your how-to write up? What about any difference in space for the dual lens? I have 3" bi-xenon projectors (4" w/ bezel) and would like to fit a 2.875" driving light in the housing also. Appreciate any assistance/suggestions.

I have some pics on page 3 of the retrofit services thread in the sig. You just have to move the projector over towards the ends, you may have to hack the back of the actual plastic housing because the bulb holder may hit it as you start to retighten down the reflector housing. Alot of this stuff is cut fit, cut fit, and trial and error. Test fit everything without cutting first and you will see what needs to be modified to get it to fit.
