Don't get full cai, just from the MAF to the filter ... Meaning leave the stock mid-pipe.

that's a rip-off. ebay will sell knock-offs for a fraction of that price. besides, Injen is not a real CAI.

No that's not what I mean. Does it sit in the feder, or in front of the radiator? That's a rip-off

What I was referring to was that some on here liked the results of using the stock m/p with the PR CAI style.

No matter what you do, an intake will do minimal if anything. And it's definately not worth that price. Get a pop charger for 1/4 that price and gain as much or more, granted it wont look as cool, but that's ok in my book.

i dont even think the CAI is even nessacary. Most people go to aftermarket then later go back to stock because they feel aftermarket intakes lose low end power. I believe what gives u the low end power is the stock mid pipe. I have a Frankencar mid pipe with a K&N filter at the end. sounds extremely loud, nice, deep, throaty, and mean! I couldnt be happier with the sound of my intake. But frankencar takes a franken long time to get your stuff. (haha get it franken=freaking lol) It took mine about 2-3 weeks.

Anyways when u do get an intake id sugget getting a K&N filter. They are one of the best filters on the market in my opinion. They can be cleaned and reused. The pretty much never go bad.

Good luck!
