knock sensor code

went to autozone and got code (PO0325) which is "Malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for knock sensor"
tested the knock sensor circuit that connects to the knock senros and it read 558ohms so thats good...what other problems can be with this code?

Was the CEL on? If so, you have another code ... because the KS code wont trip the CEL by itself.

Knock Code

I have this same code, and my CEL is on. I don't have any other codes stored. Is it really the knock sensor that needs to be replaced, or something else. If it's something else, how can I tell what it would be? Any ideas?

ugh... I can't believe I'm helping you but...

The ohm thing you mentioned....it will do that sometimes, but once it warms up the resistance will be way off. It's bad, replace it (yo).

Yeah okay, I'll lay off of ya. I only give you a hard time because you start so damn many threads to ask questions that are covered in the stickies. One may conclude that you would rather ask than do the research yourself. If you look it up yourself, you are more likely to learn the answers. If somebody just gives you the answer, you are less likey to learn, because it was just handed to you. I encourage you to ask questions, but read the stickies first.

Not to mention you get is so many pissing matches with everybody.
Oh, and your a spoiled rich kid......we all know that too.

ONCE AND FOR ALL, testing it for resistance doesn't mean ****. I can give you my old KS that reads 564ohms, guess what, it's dead. The FAQ clearly states that a KS can be good one minute and bad the next. Easy test, common sense too, disconnect the KS circuit and drive around for a few days, see if there's a difference. Learn to spell for god's sake, it makes you look like a retard.

Hey, dont mean to steal the thread or nothing like that, but im sure the person that made it would also like to know where can one buy a cheap priced knock sensor. I saw one in the GD section but it was a generic one for $89. Are the generic just as good as the OEM?
