Upstream O2 Sensor

Hi all. Long time no posts here.

Got an 0413 code which relates to P0153 scan code and reads "Upstream oxygen sensor circuit slow response fault (left bank)".

Yep, I've read the ECU codes sticky and all, but nothing is there on this code.

I'm considering replacing the O2 sensor, but have never done so before. Is there anything I should know about doing this (other than what the Haynes manual describes) or should I try something out before replacing the sensor?

thanks all.

Replace the sensor. Its the one on the y-pipe closest to the front of the car.

Buy replacements at www.oxygensensors.com, Bosch OEM equivalent plug-and-plug, mention maxima.org for a discount.

Unplug the harness at the opposite end of the O2 sensor and blow out dust. Plug it back in and reset your CEL light. If your CEL light comes back, replace the sensor.
