The only difference I see from those pics compared to mine that I'm looking at now is from the large relay box from the left side. I don't have any relay where yours says "corn lamp" and where yours says "keyless 2/ Hazard" mine says "ABS motor". It may be one of those. You can check by taking them out and seeing what functions stop working on the remote or car.

Odd, that.

Took out CORN LAMP (which one would think would be the parking lights or the corner lights (orange), but both still worked with the relay out. Blinkers worked, hazards, headlights, high beams, etc. So no idea what that does.

Then I took out the 'Keyless 2 / Hazard'...lock, unlock, dome light, and trunk release still worked (12:45 AM, not going to try panic mode). Hazards even worked...and still blinked when the system is armed.

Apparently they don't control anything, though that can't be...

Hmm... That is wierd. I wonder what they are for? Did you try starting the car? Also are you a 5-speed? I have a spot like you for a clutch relay and I am a stick but no relay or wires there. I could never figure out why not. Thats crazy that all that stuff still worked though.

I wish :-(

Automatic for now....gonna start saving up for a swap, though.

Yea...so I have no idea. Do you know where the controller module is, for the keyless? I could check directly there for...something, anything.

The multi-remote control unit is in the trunk on the right side. Pull back that interior plastic covering stuff and when looking at the jack its to the left. There is also a relay by the trunk latch. It is to the left and down of the latch. If you have a multi-meter you could find out which wires do what coming from the control unit.

Ah, I thought I remembered seeing it before.

I wired a piezo buzzer into the hazards, so when I lock the car it beeps (in the stickies somewhere).

Hmm...with I had a multimeter, might be time to buy one.

If you did the beeper mod you probably saw the relay, but have you seen the control unit?
As far as the multi-meter, I bought it when I was trying to solve me starter problem. I have gone crazy with it and it has saved me some money as well. I probably now have double the wires that the max came with from doing all sorts of rewires. I think I paid $17 from wal-mart, it was the only place open at 1AM while working on the car. If your even slightly into electronics I would recomending picking one up. You can get the non-digital ones even cheeper.

Yea, I saw the control unit when I pulled back the trim to disconnect my antenna (I hate that thing extending when I accidentally hit the FM/AM button).

I get paid on Friday, so I'll probably pick one up then...

Hmm....there has to be a relay somewhere for the dome light, so far I haven't seen a thing in the car that doesn't have a relay somewhere in the wiring (heh).

The last relay that I can think of as I'm looking at my chilton book is the accessory relay. I know its a strech, but I can see nothing else. It's the top relay by the fuse box in the cabin.
