0505 - No Failure Recorded/Detected

What does this mean? Will this dump my emmisions test that I need to do?

0302: EGR System HI/LO
0304: Knock Sensor
0606: Cyl 3 Misfire

This is a '99 SE Limited, 59k miles. The only other codes I have gotten since new were a Cyl 1 misfire (got code myself, cleaned the coilpack and replaced, no more problems) and "one of the O2 sensors" per my brother in law half *** mechanic.

I have been at or ahead of schedule of all of the major maintenance items, replaced plugs (NGK), flushed and replaced tranny fluid (Mobil1), fuel filter, regular semisyn or fullsyn oil changes, air filters etc.

Whaddya think?

car is ok.
but mine was strange. CEL came on so I pulled out cod. 0505. Reset ECU no more CEL

 

That's normal actually. Every "x" number of miles (I can't remember the exact interval), 4th gen maximas actually flash a CEL to basically give a status update, irregardless of whether there is an error present.

 

Sorry, I am new to this and trying to get some info since I can't start a thread til I post 15 replies. Since I don't have a great deal of info to post for other members I guess I will have to wait awhile to address my car's problems.
