Hi all,

Just the other day car started to Hum and slightly vibrate on deceleration..Friend thinks is tranny i am clueless when it comes to major things, has anyone encountered this problem? 99 stick with 112k miles on it.

When i accelerate no noise when i break no noise just when i coast and let off the faster the car is going and deaccels the faster the noise sounds but all same loudness.

Anyone can give me heads up?

 

I don't know for sure, but if you are still on your stock clutch, it might be your throwout bearing. Also, does your tranny leak at all? If so, I'd make sure you top it off. Might as well change the fluid if you haven't had it done recently.
