Is it the starter?

Have had hard starting (crank 6-7 seconds) for the past few months. Changed plugs, fuel filter, knock sensor, rear o2 sensor, ordered a crankshaft sensor as that code was thrown along with the knock sensor, and today replaced the battery as it was dead after a full charge. Now it cranked once for 3-4 seconds and then stopped. All I get know is a click.

I assume (with 114,000 miles) my starter has STB (broken). Doesn't seem like too hard a job, but am wondering where to get a starter. Pinnicle has them for $150.00, Ebay has them for $75.00 and I have not checked Checker or NAPA. What are the thoughts on where to buy a starter, and also is there a consensis that my starter is shot?

Check all you connections make sure it is clean. How many clicks do you hear when you crank?

one click

It did crank at first for a few seconds with the brand new battery, then it ground to a halt. I tried again repeatedly and got one click each time.

You need a new starter for sure. Pick one up from Pinnicle or Advanced if one is near. Just make sure you stay away from Autozone parts. I have got nothing but $h*t parts from that place and so has everyone I have talked to.
