Possible for timing chain to JUMP????

I'm going to say if your chain somehow jumped even one tooth, it would barely run at all. Unless he pulled the t chain covers and verified the cam timing is indeed off, it's a guess at the very best. It's almost impossible to have a chain jump a tooth unless the tensioners were just 100% shot or missing. But you would be hearing all kinds of noises also.

Correct. Thanks for pointing that out. hdiggeddy, I think your mechanic must be a moron because you have posted about 4-5 different threads on the same problem. Don't post seperate THREADS and make everyone start from the beginning. Wastes everyone's time. KEEP IT IN ONE THREAD.
