What is the best paint (all opinions wanted) to paint engine bay components with? Such as the battery tie down, valve cover, fluid caps, and.....well thats about it. Also, whats a good caliper paint? Do you get better results with a brush or spray?

U shoould use 500 degree engine paint. It will resist gas spills and other type of chemical.

As for the Calipers, I used the same can of paint. It looks cool but not how I want it. I really just wanted to cover up the rust. They look good tho. I just took my time when spraying and what little paint I got on my rotors, I clean immediately with brake cleaner and tissue. In the front calipers I just stuffed the front vent hole with tiolet tissue and masked off what I didn't want to get paint on.

Be careful. I know there was one post where someone sprayed their calipers and got paint all on the pads. Take your time.
