Anyone know if Nissan would sell me just the solenoid and not the whole starter? They're closed until Monday now, but my local Canadian Tire said they only sell the starter/solenoid together as one unit. I just bench tested mine - the solenoid fails but the starter fires up no problem.

 

you can get one at napa or equivalant
