just got one from a junkyard, how do i reset it, do i need to bring it to the dealer

 

I don't know if this will work on an airbag computer that has been taken out of another car , but my air bag light was flashing and this did reset my airbag computer . This link is to the stickies, look at the last paragragh of post #2

You don't need to reset it if your car's SRS system components are in working order. Just install the computer, hook up the cables and you should be fine.
