Good and cheap place to find a remanufactured compressor
I'm looking to replace my compressor again. I got one off of ebay last year with 80k miles but it went bad in about 6 months. The most expensive one I've seen is $289 on ebay. Is there any place that sells them cheaper? I would prefer something that would last at leat 4 yesrs. Thanks.

I would get a lowmile one from there.

I bought mine for $342 from my local Nissan Dealer. Someone else here posted they got one from their dealer for a little over $300 dollars. I know it's more than you wanted to pay, but it is a new unit (the box said unit may be new or remanufactured - it sure looked brand new), and it has a warranty. In the end it may be better than paying to have the system emptied and filled again, just to do it again a little later. I've had mine for a while with no issues.

308 For a new one. I would get a used low mile one for half of that.

When I called they told me that it is remanufactured. When I went and picked it up, the box said, or inside the box (can't remember now), that the part is either remanufactured or a brand new part. The compressor comes with a one year warranty. I thought about going used, but I did not want to deal with any headaches, and I thought going and getting a new/remanufactured one would be the best bet against any possible headaches.
Around here the dealer was actually a good deal less expensive than Pep Boys, Autozone, or Kragens.
