VERY very low idle - need some help

Hey guys - my max seems like she's asking to be "put-down" lately...

Firstly: 1996 5Spd w/ 2000 trans. 135K miles.

Problem: very low idle, wayyy below 1K somewhere around 3-4 hundred. If i tap the gas it revs and then falls all the way to the point it almost stalls and then settles back at around 3-400 again. Stalled on me once after I reved it but other than that hasnt stalled yet. When the AC is switched on it revs right up to 800 and sits there perfectly...even my lights dim a little when its sitting at 3-400.

Anyone have any idea why this could be happening? I have the rear o2 code showing and I'm about 800 miles away from an oil change. Thanks for reading guys!!

1. Clean out the TB and the IACV.
2. Once you have done that, adjust the base idle using the procedure in the stickies.

All the way anti-clockwise - don't twist too hard... but you should feel a definite stopping point.
