Lights Killswitch

How hard would it be to make a switch where you could toggle your lights on and off? Say you were driving at night and wanted to have all your exterior lights turn off by a switch, how could this be done?

you turn your lights to OFF.

now as for brake lights, you'd need to wire a switch. might be a ***** though. you'd have to run wiring through the car and to a switch placed somewhere accessable. It's also porbabyl illegal.

Maybe you're stalking a girlfriend or something? You mean the brake lights?

There is no logical reason why someone would want to do this for their car while driving at night.

Thats just dangerous, and simply put stupid.

i've always wanted to do this in case there's a cop n i'm speeding like crazy because i'm taking a long trip n its about 3 AM. i believe its relatively easy. just go to all wiring for the back. n hack the wire n put a switch to it. leave the switch on so you'll create a continuous circuite n leave it off to make it a short. but if you get rear-ended n the person said you had no tail lights, you better get it fixed quick, but i dunno how you would at the scene of the accident.

BTW, i haven't done this yet...since i've just decided to slow down n NOT run away from the cops n just say, "hi, my friend works for state police"...-= )

I remember trying to outrun a cop in my put put 90 sentra. I ended up in some dark neighborhood in someone's private driveway hoping he didn't spot me. But that didn't happen.

See what you do is turn off the car and throw the keys in the yard that you turned into, that way you can say you were just sitting in your car cause you lost your keys. Plus if your keys are out of the ignition, and they didnt get your liscense plate they have no probable cause or proof that you were driving that way.

They could always tell if the engine is hot...it would needless to say be hot...if you were speeding around.
