Issue with VI

Ok guys I'm running a full 3.5 in a 4th gen., with 4th gen timing equip., and ecu. The full 3.5 is mated with a DEK LOWER AND UPPER IM. I just got a RPM switch installed today. This is what I noticed. I'm an auto by the way. Only in a forward gear! So only in "D, 2, or 1" do I hear what can be best described as a bunch of crickets, but it's subtle, it can be heard from about 4 feet away. When the car is in Reverse, Park or Neutral that ticking noise goes away. Is this normal? It seems like it's def. coming from the IM.

Does the noise go away at higher idle speed, such as when you are in park or neutral?

Crickets go chirp chirp chrip. To me it sounds more like bees in a can now. And actually I think it's my y pipe, I think my motor mounts are flexing too, and I think the sound is coming from the exhaust up front. I can hear it more from the bottom of the car.

Stephen,
Raising the RPMS makes it go away sounds like its only at idle.
